Company registration in Estonia from abroad
Estonia lets a foreign founder own and run a company without moving here. Most of our clients start with e-Residency, sign the founding documents digitally and never appear in person at any office.
We check that the plan holds up before anything is filed: the name, the field of activity, the share capital, the management board and the address. That is where mistakes are cheap to fix — after registration they are not.
The company is set up in strict compliance with Estonian law, so that the legal side of the business is clean from the first day rather than patched later.
Time and cost
How long it takes and what it costs, line by line
Two questions come before every other one, so here are both answers up front. A ready application for an OÜ is processed by the Business Register in one to three working days. The whole project, counted from your first message to a registered company, usually runs five to ten working days — the difference is not the register, it is how fast the name is agreed, the documents are signed and the share capital question is settled.
The cost has four lines and only one of them is ours. The state fee for registering an OÜ is €265 and goes to the register, not to us. Our fee starts at €250 + VAT, or €325 + VAT with an accounting consultation included. A legal address and contact person, if the company has no address in Estonia, is a separate annual service. A VAT (KMKR) application, when the company needs one, is handled with the registration.
Share capital deserves its own line because it confuses people: an OÜ can be founded without paying it in, so it is not a cost at the start. It stays a debt of the founders to the company until it is contributed.
If you do not have e-Residency yet, add its own timeline on top. The card is applied for separately through the state, and the company cannot be registered digitally until it is in your hands. That waiting period belongs to the state, not to the registration, and it is the single most common reason a formation takes longer than the numbers above.
